Whether in spring, autumn, or winter, you will want to have a coat that keeps you warm and also looks stylish. You may opt for a jacket or blazer-type outerwear in the warmer months. This can help bring an outfit together and offer mild protection against unpredictable spring showers.

For plus-sized women, it can be a bit trickier. The type of coat you want will keep you warm while also potentially flattering your figure. Which can be more of a challenge if you are wearing a jacket.

However, there are a range of jackets, blazers, and coats that can help those who are curvier look stunning and turn heads as they walk down the street. Without costing a fortune!

    Cropped Blazer

First on the list is the cropped blazer which is one of the most popular plus size jackets uk that you can find.

Imagine a standard blazer or jacket and then cut it at the waist. Also, give it sleeves that end at the elbows, and you have a cropped blazer. It helps to draw attention to your bust and your hips.

    Long-line Blazer/Jacket

On the opposite end of this spectrum is the long-line blazer. This usually has long sleeves but can also be completely sleeveless, depending on the look you’re going for.

It is akin to a coat in a blazer style, but the material can be anything from something thicker than you’d expect from a blazer to nice cool linens for the summer months. They can be any length, even passing the knee, and some styles have belts, which can help you to pull in your waist. Making it a suitable and classy addition to any outfit during autumn or spring while also flattering your figure.

    Mid Jacket

Next up is the mid jacket, which is, in essence, a standard jacket with long sleeves. It is usually buttoned all the way up the front without pulling in too much at the waist, which can be uncomfortable for some ladies.

A mid jacket is also more casual, especially when compared to a long-line blazer, and can be bought in most stores. And it can be worn on almost any occasion. If you want a classier mid jacket option, you can usually find these at any good online store for plus-size clothing.

    Trench Coat

A trench coat is the ultimate fashion statement during the winter months. It hugs your figure and keeps you warm while also looking stunning.

Most trench coats, once again, pull in at the waist with a belt. Which will help to enhance your natural shape without being too uncomfortable or restrictive. And with a range of materials that the trench coats come in, you can opt for a waterproof option or the more classic leather chic look.

Just remember when choosing a jacket that it should not cause any discomfort when you’re wearing it. And it should help you to feel like the goddess you are while wearing it. So choose wisely and flaunt your curves with pride!
