APPLE’S MobileMe is great for syncing data between multiple computers and devices, and while I personally decided to cough up the AU$119 to save me some time and frustration, let’s face it, the service definitely isn’t cheap. It’s probably only worth it if you plan to use all the included functionality of the service.

If you’re on the internet, you’re probably part of a social network, or three. Heck, I could list ten networks I use regularly straight off the top of my head. They’re everywhere, from MySpace, Facebook, Bebo through to last.fm, Flickr and Twitter (just to name a few). They all have an ‘About Me’ or ‘Bio’ section, and a place for an avatar, or profile picture if you want. This is all well and good if you’ve only got a couple to maintain, but if you’ve got more, it can become a confusing mess to keep them all updated, and in sync with each other.
