  1. Hi Ben,

I work for Tucows Inc. and am the General Manager of our Domain Portfolio, which includes over 40,000 surname domain names, one of which is kogan.com.

I just read, with great interest, your blog post about kogan.com.

Since I am the person at Tucows who deals with any serious purchase or legal inquiries about domain names in our portfolio, this is the kind of matter that I would normally deal with.

To date, no one from Kogan Technologies, the Australian company (which I have never heard of until now), has spoken to me about this domain name or expressed any concern about it.

Imagine my surprise, then, when I came across your article and learned about the supposed “interesting conversations” Kogan Technologies claims to have had with us.

Should Mr. Kogan or anyone from Kogan Technologies wish to speak to me about this domain name, they are welcome to get in touch with me directly, and I will gladly offer my assistance.

I can be reached at bsweetman[at]tucows.com or 416-538-5429.
