Freeview is a launch of ‘new’ channels which really are repeats of the original channel just time shifted. There is one sports channel, called One that shows great sporting highlights such as netball, swimming and lots of US sports that no one really cares about in Australia and some channels even feature fascinating content LIVE such as question time!

Freeview is a marketing campaign for existing FTA Digital content; that is confusing the shit out the public and news publishers.
Freeview is just free to air on a digital platform. I think the marketing is confusing though

Unfortunately you are not allowed to know when exactly your freeview is allocated – that’s all part of the fun of it – it really is a lot of fun this interwebs thing.

The ad claims it’s “A new era in Australia television”, more like a new era in colossal bullshit. Freeview is merely a buzzword dreamed up by pathetic morons in an effort to get people to switch from analogue tv services to digital. It adds absolutely nothing to the existing Digital TV services, and advertises features that it has always had as new and exciting.
