Vodafone iPhone Billing Has Minor Data Billing Hiccup: Check Your Bill

2

AFTER checking my recent Vodafone iPhone bill, I came across some discrepancies in regards to unexpected data charges.

I got in contact with Vodafone after reviewing the bill, of which credited the $7.65 (excluding GST) back to the my account immediately.

My cap includes a data allowance of 250 Megabytes.

They are now aware of some billing “glitch” that was occurring, of where by it was charging my account $0.01 every timeĀ  50KB was used.

There are a couple of things I find confusing overall with the bill (a massive 22 pages long) such as those said data charges being exactly 50 Kilo Bytes, each session.

I do not know whether this is a nation wide issue, but I would urge that if you are on a Vodafone plan, that you check your bill.

    Hi Ben,
I am getting the same billing error from my iphone cap $79 vodafone account, 50Kb and $0.01 so looks like still happening. I will call them in regards to this.

    Hi Ben,

    It’s still happening.

I joined Vodafone last week and just checked my call usage. Exactly the same 1c for each connection and charged at 12c per Mb – almost like I was being charged for excess usage.
