TODAY at TechCrunch50, Google announced it will be partnering with publishers to bring the offline world online.

Beside Google’s massive wallet, it will be using Google AdSense to ‘fund’ the project, and will also be using its already used sophisticated text reading software to index papers fully.

Google already archives news, but this will broaden its spectrum a whole lot more.

Will this save print media? Who knows, but there is a fair chance it just might.
