Apple Prevents Competition’s Google AdWords: Do I Hear The ACCC?

Australian MacWorld has reported that David Macintosh, a Sydney based Apple reseller, has had his Google AdWords campaign suspended “pending revision”.
An email from Google notified him that..
“MacToFront remove the words “Apple” and “Mac” from its ad”
One of Mr Macintosh’s advertisements was as follows:
Discount Macs
Lowest prices on Apple computers
Fast delivery, Australia wide!
David told Australian MacWorld
“Last time I looked, I was an Apple Authorised Reseller,” he argues, “and hence should be able to promote their wares — which includes their logo and trademarks. It seems that I am now restricted to using generic terms such as ‘laptops’, ‘desktops’ and ‘MP4 players’.”
One has to wonder if David will need to change his last name…
