Ha. Fooled you, I’m not going to be talking about the iPhone. Future technologies, looking into the following decades, 2020, 2050, what is the world going to look like from a technological level?

If you took a crystal ball (a genuine future-seeing one) and held it and waved your hands over it, what would you see in the rich people’s houses of the future? Would everybody be plugged into virtual reality, so if you die you get another go?

What would handheld devices look like? I imagine by that time we truly would have the convergence device that would be a viable replacement camera, that you could listen to your music and watch your videos on, and features to that effect. We are seeing devices that are getting closer and closer to becoming these, but creases need to be ironed out.

When you think about it, in terms of technology, we are living in the most exciting time in mankind. I have a feeling that we are truly on the edge of not so much the technological singularity, but the ability to create technology like this.
